Drew Peterson
Secretary-General
A member of the Class of 2010 in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, Drew is pursuing a major in International Politics and a minor in Social and Political Thought. He has been involved in Model UN since his sophomore year of high school and is honored to have the chance to put his experience to work ensuring that NCSC XXXVI is the most enjoyable, memorable, and substantively compelling conference on the collegiate circuit. In addition to be a very active member of the IRC at Georgetown, Drew does on-campus research with a well-known scholar of post-Soviet nationalism and is involved with the Philodemic Debate Society, among other things. He is fluent in French and has also studied Russian, German, and Romanian. He loves traveling, reading, listening to jazz, being active, and generally not having very much free time (or so it seems). He is very excited to kick off the collegiate MUN season with NCSC XXXVI on Columbus Day Weekend 2008, and encourages anyone with questions or concerns about the conference to contact him directly at ncscsg(at)modelun.org.

Michael Karno
Executive Director
Michael Karno is a rising Junior in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Political Economy, which he promises sounds crazier and more impressive than in reality. This is Michael’s third NCSC, having previously served as a Crisis Analyst and more recently as the Director of Registration. He has also served as a Chair and Crisis Analyst for NAIMUN, GIRA’s high school conference. On top of that, he is an active participant in Georgetown’s conferences program, ensuring that Model UN consumes most of his free time, as it has since his freshmen year of high school. He hails from Chicago, Illinois, which holds a special place in his heart, especially his hometown White Sox, Bulls and Bears. Michael is extremely excited to serve as Executive Director of NCSC for what promises to be the best conference in its thirty-six year history. You can contact him directly at ncsced(at)modelun.org
