Capitol
For first time, NCSC will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda, MD. Thanks to the Red Line metro stop directly beneath the hotel, NCSC XXXVIII's delegates will be more connected to our nation's capital than ever before. Home to the US Federal Government, 170 embassies and the Georgetown Hoyas, the city offers not only the richness of 200 years of history, but the opportunity to interact with some of the nation's brightest people.

Some of the most famous attractions in the United States can be found here in Washington, including the National Mall, Smithsonian Institution, Lincoln Memorial, and Washington Monument. Additionally, delegates will be in close proximity to the most important centers of American government, including the White House, the Capitol, the Pentagon and the Supreme Court. Washington is also the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and a number of other international institutions. Delegates will be able to experience all of the advantages of being in the nation's capital by having the opportunity to attend committee briefings at embassies and NGOs and speak with experts who work in the field of political science.

However, Washington, DC is not all about museums and governmental institutions. The city also hosts a variety of shopping and dining districts that attract a number of locals and tourists, including Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, and of course, Georgetown. During their stay, delegates will be able to enjoy the renowned DC nightlife scene, as well as a host of cultural options, including music and theater.
