NCSC LIII Awards

NCSC calculates awards with a 5-4-3-2 point allocation system for Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Honorable Mention, and Verbal Commendation awards, with awards in double-delegation committees (International Anti-Corruption Conference and UNSC) counted twice. Despite being a Joint-General-Assembly, the US Senate will provide one set of awards.

Delegates in crisis committees can expect between 5 and 6 awards, and delegates in Assemblies & Specialized committees can expect between 7 and 10 awards, depending on live attendance and committee size.

Awards in all advanced committees (both Ad Hoc committees and the UNSC) are given a 1.25 weighting in calculating delegation awards. Additionally, both the Ad-Hoc General Assembly and Ad-Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General will distribute three Best Delegate awards and three Verbal Commendations.

NCSC LIII will grant four delegation awards: Best Large, Outstanding Large, Best Small, and Outstanding Small. These will be calculated by equally weighting total points received and percentage of delegates per delegation who received awards, as is typical at other major circuit conferences.

Finally, NCSC LIII will grant certificates to all delegates who receive awards, including those who receive Verbal Commendations and those additionally receiving gavels. We are doing this in an effort to recognize and celebrate the immense time and energy all attendees have put into this conference, of which we are so grateful.
