The Ad Hoc of the Secretary-General’s body, topics, and Background Guide will be revealed to delegates at the beginning of the first committee session on Thursday night. This committee will be run as a midsize single-delegation committee.

This is an advanced committee. Awards in this committee will be given a 1.25 weighting when calculating delegation awards.

We are thrilled to welcome you to Washington, DC for NCSC’s Ad-Hoc of the Secretary General. We are excited to finally share our vision with you, though we fear you will have to wait until Thursday evening to see it. Come prepared—or don’t. But at the very least, do not continue reading this, believing that we are going to put hints in the committee description. You know better. We’re nice (ish), but not that nice. 

Please reach out if you have any questions about the committee! We are happy to provide absolutely no support or helpful information at all, and are looking forward to working with you to not prepare for this committee.

Meet the Team

  • Anna Kelly

    CHAIR

    Anna Kelly is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences double-majoring in Computer Science and Government. She’s from Scituate, Massachusetts, a small town south of Boston (try pronouncing Scituate… you’re probably wrong). You will often find Anna nerding out about space in her free time, as proud former president of Georgetown’s Space Initiative. Aside from that, she enjoys running, lifting, EDM, and reading fiction. Anna is semi-retired from collegiate MUN today, but has previously served on GUMUN exec leadership and C-Staff, as well as USGing NCSC and staffing Georgetown’s MUN conferences. She’s very excited to meet you all… and for the best Ad Hoc of 2026!!!

  • Michelle Giovinazzo

    CRISIS MANAGER

    Michelle Giovinazzo is a member of the class of 2027 double majoring in Computer Science, Ethics, and Society and Economics with a minor in Spanish. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is a firm believer in “west coast best coast.” She has many obsessions, notably the Hunger Games, bubble tea, social deception games, and Model UN. If you have competed in an ad hoc before, chances are you have already met her. Previously serving as the Head Delegate and CEO of the travel team for the 2025-2026 school year, she has competed in over a dozen collegiate crisis ad hocs (correct term: cradhocs). She is so excited to run the cradhoc at NCSC and can’t wait to see the creative arcs you cook up!

    Chris Rocco is a student in Georgetown’s School of Health Class of 2029, where he is studying Human Science.  More than anything, Chris is incredibly grateful to be your USG of Non-Trads and cannot wait to see you all in his committees. See you in the fall!
